Jordi Batlle launched Serviling® in 2004, although his own professional translating career began in 2002.
He has been a member of de Asetrad (Asociación Española de Traductores, Correctores e Intérpretes) since 2005. He was a voting member in the association from 2015 to 2017 and was Vice-president from 2017 to 2019. He also represented ASETRAD in the Fit (Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs / International Federation of Translators) between 2017 and 2019.
